CREW offers outstanding recreational
opportunities. With nearly 10 miles of hiking trails with more planned in the future. The CREW Marsh Hiking Trails lead you through pine flatwoods, oak hammocks, a sawgrass marsh, and a popash slough. These trails are open to hiking and are dog friendly, as long as the dog is on a 6 foot leash. In addition to pine flatwoods, oak hammocks, and marshes, the Cypress Dome Trails include 2 cypress dome ecosystems. Many species of wildflowers are found blooming throughout the year. Birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and an occasional armadillo or rabbit may cross your path as well. These trails are open to hiking, biking, and are dog friendly too. Horseback riding is also available by permit only at the Cypress Dome Trails. Camping is available by permit only at a primitive campsite for groups of up to 25 people. The campsite is located on a beautiful oak hammock surrounded by marsh. Please use the links to the left for more details.
